Announced earlier this week, LG's Bello II has made its debut in India as the LG Max. The phone will retail for ₹10,900 ($170), although a specific launch date was not revealed.
The phone will be available in Titan, Gold and White color combinations, boasting a 5-inch 854 x 480 display, 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, microSD slot, 8MP camera at the back, 5MP front shooter, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2,540mAh battery along with Android 5.1.1 out of the box.
It remains to be seen if LG can gain traction with a 3G-only handset at this price range, considering most manufacturers are offering 4G-enabled handsets, such as the Yu Yureka Plus, Redmi Note 4G, Lenovo A6000 Plus, K3 Note and Honor 4X for under ₹10,000.
