LG Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo are the latest budget phones to hit both Sprint Prepaid and Virgin Mobile. Those
looking to stick with Sprint should be purchasing the LG Tribute Duo, while
customers on Virgin Mobile should be looking for the LG Tribute 2. Customers of
either network can purchase the new smartphone for $99 plus taxes, without
involving a contract.
It supports a 4.5-inch display, both the Tribute 2 and Tribute Duo sports a Quad-core processor alocked at 1.2 Ghz, and operates on Android 5.1. Powered by a 1,900mAh battery, the phone is said to put up upto 16 hours of talk time, and the buttons are placed on the rear, similar with LG's other devices.
Sprint's prepaid plans start currently for a price tag of $35 with unlimited talk and text and 1Gigs of data, and exceeds up to $55 for 6GB of data. Where as Virgin Mobile plans start at $30 for 300 minutes and 3GB of 4G data, and moves to $40 for unlimited talk and 3GB of 4G data.
