Game of Thrones Season 6: Cast Teases With One Word

As most fans are probably aware, Comic-Con was this past weekend, and that means the Game of Thrones cast had to answer a lot of questions about the soon-to-be-filming Season 6. And just in case they weren’t asked enough questions during the show’s panel, the cast were asked additional questions immediately following the panel by HBO. Specifically, they were asked to describe the Season 6 scripts in one word. Their answers are... interesting.

Conleth Hill, Varys, who has seen the scripts had a great one word: “amazing.” We'll take it!

John Bradley, who portrays Samwell Tarly, says of the scripts, “Rich. Bursting with ideas. Game of Thrones has always been bursting with tiny details, and the first few scripts we've received are absolutely following that trend.” We’re glad to hear this, since we were a little worried about the show running out of ideas now that they don’t have the books to follow.

Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell, had no word since she hasn’t read the scripts yet. She does have some though. Five of them. “On the long-haul flight home I can sit and power through them,” she reveals. “There will be no entertainment system switched on on that airplane, I will be reading five GoT scripts.”

Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) also has the scripts and hasn’t read them yet, but that was by design. “I was like, ‘I’m not about to look at them before Comic-Con,’ because I'd be too tempted to say stuff.” Makes sense. Carice van Houten’s (Melisandre) line of thinking was similar. “I was afraid to start to read them while I was here, I thought I'd spoil something.” And here we were hoping she would go for two words: Jon Snow.

And finally, Alfie Allen (Theon/Reek) has probably the most-perfect one word descriptor of them all: “Unpredictable.” Indeed.
